Gandhian Fab the outcome of Amin’s passion for Khadi which he uses as his canvas for his imaginative creations has flawed this season at the Couture Runway Week with his collection named as "Zeal for Stripes"
Khadi being a porous fabric and good colour retainer was used in most artistic way along with stripes of various vibrant colour combinations which has always inspired Amin.
The collection had tunics, gowns, fused coats, flowy tunics, embroidered gowns in beads and dokra art; all in striped cotton khadi which was an effort to make Khadi designs attractive for the modern young generation and the generation next as well as retain the ethnicity in designs to make Indian girls and women look beautiful in our own indigenous sustainable fashion.
When asked the designer about his love for khadi and his inspiration, he stated “He believes that khadi is the most versatile fabric made of the very indigenous moral fibre of India. He finds a “human touch” in khadi because it is not the mindless creation by machines but has the weaver’s emotions and hard work woven in its natural threads! Our Couture is an attempt to innovate, recreate and embrace modernity, keeping in mind India’s rich cultural heritage.”
“Wear ethnic simple sustainable dress which retains the naturalness of the fabric and wear a comfort fit style which can emit your confidence!
Says Amin Farishta adding further he gave a small styling tip for our audience which is
