Speaking on the occasion, the Fashion Icon & International Fashion Celebrity Mr. Ratnadeep Lal – Founder Chairman International Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT) congratulate the organizers, all Designers & whole team for their great efforts in making the event successful & also told that it is the great opportunity for IIFT Designers to showcase their creativity in global platform.

The fascinating science of colour is therapy … true to this and following the hot trends of 2020, the range of IIFT Bareilly’s designers took us all on colour trip with some unique cuts and silhouettes, drenched in the colours of upcoming season.

RAINBOW OF RAJASTHAN
“Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of all?”
Well, if not, then let me re-frame this quote by replacing the word ‘fairest’ with other adjectives like beautiful, gorgeous, alluring, attractive, pretty etc.
The students of IIFT, Bhopal with this beautiful thought presented the dresses designed for beautiful ladies depicting cultures, traditions, dresses, and work all from the way beyond the Thar Desert - "Rajasthan". This largest State of India is brimming with a vibrancy that will leave you with mesmerizing eyes with vibrant colours, traditions, cultures.
Dresses were designed using various different materials like mirror work fabric, gotta patti fabric, patch work, embroidered on different cotton fabrics, kalamkari fabric etc. Dresses designed vary from long to short, from traditional to fusion.

THE ESSENCE OF CASABLANCA LILLIES …… A PASSION
Students of IIFT Meerut believe that essence is an important thing to look towards ourselves and set goals in life so that we can work towards achieving something in our lives.
The inspiration for the collection was derived from the beautiful and impactful quote “tiger lily shouted, create women create“ ! – by lilies. Therefore to create something new for the summers from the use white cotton silk and pastel shades of chickenkari was the main focus by the students .

IIFT Naraina (Delhi)
IIFT Naraina presented the various themes through their collection. Some of themes which were showcased are as follows:
"THE SEVEN SEAS" inspired by the colours of the sea. Interestingly the colours seen by us in the sea is due to the absorption and scattering of light. Hence, we can see various colour ranges at different vision points.
Therefore the students of IIFT Nariana have experimented with the various hues of the sea like azure, aqua, sea green, teal, midnight blue etc. with great enthusiasm.

“ETHNIC BARBIE” based on exuberance and innate fashion sense of our young models. This playful fashionable barbies on the ramp were the real life fairies from the Disney fairy tales / lands.
“We are raised as little girls to think that we are a Barbie“ quoted by the young models.
The fabric used in the collection was so festive and diverse and our young role models mesmerised it in their sequins, embedded, frilly frock, traditional party wear innovative patterns strut across the ramp.

The black n white theme is all based on muslim tradition and style. The students worked upon fabrics like scuba fabric gorgette banana lycra etc. & Styles such as Shrugs,Cape,Long Dresses along with body suit other different designs which were showcased in the theme.
