Couture Runway Week was all mesmerized and bloomed with the colours of Rajasthan depicting the traditional craftsmanship at Pre Finale presented By Tanay Pareek which was a highlight of the couture runway week.
Mr Tanay Pareek & JBK ARTS has always been great support to CRW with his kind presence and love shown towards the Great cause of spreading awareness about CANCER.
The collection showcased by the ace designer had an elements of traditional Rajasthan focusing on handwork,& gotta patti work which signifies the true essence of the state.
When asked the designer about the inspiration, he said Rajasthan is my inspiration – a state possessing so inherited artistic expertise in form of artisans , therefore to add all the beautiful traditional artwork to garments which the rajasthani culture inherits & to promote artisans by bringing their worthful efforts to the garments , the designer is working towards the empowerment of the strength of such sole souls who are still not being given much recognition despite of their immense talent.
Talking about the collection, the garments were fully hand crafted with beautiful hand embroideries and carvation of beautiful motifs along with gotta patti work. The colour palette was certainly inclined towards more bright and ornamented shades like red, green, pink, purple, yellow- the taste of Rajasthan bringing out the colourful collection.
It was the first time for men’s that the designer inculcated bandhej , lehriya to design mens kurta pyjama which was unique and people connected with it as it was something different than black and white shades which are usually used .we also came across with mens kurtas styled with duppattas crafted with embroidery and gotta work .
Another highlight of the show was
Ms. Gayatri Bharadwaj
crowned Miss India United Continent 2018
as she was a worth to have as showstopper gracing the ramp with her charismatic aura and beauty in an utterly beautiful creation by the designer.
Talking to the media Tanay Pareek expressed his view in beautiful words
